The Governors Gun Club Shotgun League is open to the public and welcomes shooters of all ages and skill levels—from beginners to seasoned competitors. Membership isn’t required, but club members enjoy exclusive discounts!
🏁 League Seasons
The Shotgun League runs three times a year:
- Winter League: 8 weeks (bye weeks after Weeks 4 & 8)
- Spring League: 6 weeks (bye week after Week 6)
- Fall League: 8 weeks (bye weeks after Weeks 4 & 8)
Each week, participants shoot one discipline with 50 clays/shells.
Disciplines rotate through Skeet, American Trap, 5 Stand, Sporting Clays, Double Trap, Olympic Trap, and SKRAP (American Trap from the Skeet positions).
🎯 League Details
- Registration Fee: $145 (includes awards banquet, prizes, and giveaways)
- Ammo: $12.25 per box (league pricing)
- Clays:
- $15 per round of 25 for non-members
- $10 per round of 25 for club members
- FREE for High Brass members
🗓 Shooting Schedule
- Days: Tuesdays or Wednesdays (choose one day per week)
- Time Slots: 4:00 PM • 4:45 PM • 5:30 PM • 6:15 PM • 7:00 PM
- Shooters per slot: 5
You’ll keep the same day and time throughout the league.
Spots are first-come, first-served and may only be reserved after payment and registration.

Celebrate your hard work and have some fun at our Awards Banquet, featuring food, prizes, and giveaways!
📅 Thursday at 6:00 PM – the week after make-ups are due (final bye week)
📍 Main Dining Room, Governors Gun Club
Each participant may bring one guest.
