New Shooter Essentials is a 4-hour beginner handgun course covering everything a new owner needs to know — from how your firearm works to safely firing it on the range for the first time. No experience required.

What you’ll learn in Beginner Handgun Training

• Firearms safety rules and responsible ownership
• Handgun parts and operation
• Ammunition basics
• The 5 shooting fundamentals: Grip, Stance, Aiming, Trigger Control, and Follow Through
• Owner responsibilities — safe storage and transport in Georgia
• Live fire range session with instructor guidance
