In this comprehensive pistol maintenance course, we cover everything from the basics to best practices used by experienced shooters:

• Maintenance Intervals — How often should you clean your handgun? We’ll break down cleaning schedules based on round count, storage conditions, and carry frequency so you always know when it’s time for service.
• Cleaning Tools — Learn which tools you actually need, how to use them correctly, and how to avoid common mistakes that can damage your firearm.
• The Cleaning Process — Step-by-step disassembly and thorough cleaning of your pistol’s barrel, slide, frame, and components — performed on your own firearm during class.
• The Oiling Process — Too much oil causes malfunctions. Too little causes wear. We’ll show you exactly where to lubricate and how much to apply.
• Reassembly — Build confidence reassembling your handgun correctly every time with guided, hands-on practice.
• Function Check — Learn the critical post-cleaning function check to confirm your pistol is safe, properly assembled, and ready to use.
