3-Hour Live-Fire Range Class | $100

Skills & Drills: Basics is a dynamic, range-only firearms class designed to sharpen core shooting abilities through focused repetition and practical application. This course spends the entire three hours on the range, emphasizing hands-on learning and live-fire drills rather than classroom lecture.

Students will work through a variety of drills intended to reinforce and improve foundational shooting skills. While the curriculum is intentionally flexible, the class adapts to the needs and performance of the group, allowing instructors to emphasize areas that deliver the most value in real time. Expect structured drills, performance feedback, and plenty of trigger time.

Skills May Include

• Reinforcement of safe gun handling under live-fire conditions

• Grip, stance, and recoil management

• Trigger control and shot accountability

• Efficient presentation to the target

• Reloading techniques

• Basic malfunction recognition and clearance

This class is intended for shooters who already possess a basic understanding of firearms safety and fundamental shooting concepts. Students should be comfortable safely handling a firearm, following range commands, and engaging targets under supervision. This course is an excellent stepping stone for shooters who want to move beyond static practice and begin developing efficient, repeatable skills through purposeful drills.

Cancelation & Reschedule Policy:

By purchasing this course, you agree to the Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel a minimum of 72 hours before starting a class will receive a full refund in the form of store credit. A 6% credit card processing fee will be deducted from all refunds issued to the original payment method. Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance or “No-Shows” will result in forfeiture of 50% of payments and fees and a 50% store credit. “No-Shows” must contact Governors Gun Club within 72 hours to claim the 50% store credit. After 72 hours, the entire payment is forfeited. One course reschedule will be permitted for another future course date. To reschedule your course, you can contact us at instructors@governorsgunclub.com before the start of the course. Governors Gun Club reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, all students will receive a full refund or credit applied to another class.
