What you'll work on

Grip · Stance · Aiming · Trigger Control · Follow Through

01

Grip

Your grip is the only physical connection between you and the firearm — everything flows from it. Drills build a firm, consistent two-handed grip that controls recoil and keeps the gun on target shot after shot.

02

Stance

A solid stance gives you a stable platform to shoot from and recover between shots. Drills cover the two primary pistol stances and help you find the one that works best for your body and shooting style.

03

Aiming

Knowing how to properly align your sights and acquire a sight picture is what connects your grip and stance to a hit on target. Drills train your eye to find the front sight quickly and consistently under live-fire conditions.

Trigger Control

The most impactful fundamental — and the one most shooters struggle with. Instructors identify individual trigger errors in real time and use targeted drills to correct them. Straight back, no anticipation, no flinch.

Follow Through

Most new shooters end their shot the moment the trigger breaks — follow through is what separates consistent shooters from inconsistent ones. Drills train you to maintain your grip, sight picture, and trigger position through and after every shot.
