Range Safety & Etiquette
Before a single target flies, you need to understand how a trap range runs. This module covers the four rules applied to a shotgun, how to safely load and unload at the station, and the unwritten etiquette rules every shooter on the squad expects you to know.

Shotgun Fit & Gun Mount
A consistent gun mount is the foundation of breaking clays. You'll learn how to mount a shotgun so the rib sits naturally in your line of sight, how to adjust for different body types, and how to find a repeatable cheek weld that holds up under time pressure.

Station Rotation & Calling Pull
Trap is shot from five stations in sequence. Each angle demands a slightly different hold point and swing path. You'll walk through the geometry of all five stations, learn where to hold the gun before calling, and understand what the target is doing before it ever leaves the house.

Lead, Swing & Follow-Through
Trap targets accelerate away from you — which means you have to be moving through the bird, not at it. This module explains sustained lead vs. swing-through, how to read target speed and angle, and why follow-through after the shot is the most commonly skipped fundamental.
