DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\nThis is a beginner’s level course aimed at teaching new or less experienced shooters how to safely and correctly operate a Handgun. In this course students will learn in a classroom environment. This course will cover: \n\nUniversal Rules of Firearms Safety\nGun Owners Responsibilities\nHandgun Parts & Operations\nBasics of Ammunition\nFundamentals of Shooting\n\nAt the end of the class\, the students will have time on a live fire range to practice and demonstrate what they have learned in class. \nCourse Materials\n\nFirearm\nEye & Ear Protection\n150 Rounds of Ammunition (Available for purchase in store)\n\nFirearm & Safety Equipment rentals are available and included at no additional cost. \n\nPrerequisites \nNone \nCancellation & Reschedule Policy: \nBy purchasing this course\, you agree to the Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel a minimum of 72 hours before starting a class will receive a full refund in the form of store credit. A 6% credit card processing fee will be deducted from all refunds issued to the original payment method. Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance or “No-Shows” will result in forfeiture of 50% of payments and fees and a 50% store credit. “No-Shows” must contact Governors Gun Club within 72 hours to claim the 50% store credit. After 72 hours\, the entire payment is forfeited. One course reschedule will be permitted for another future course date. To reschedule your course\, you can contact us at instructors@governorsgunclub.com before the start of the course. Governors Gun Club reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
