Door Prize Drawing: Terms and Conditions
By participating in this door prize drawing (“Drawing”), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
- No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Drawing.
- Eligibility: The Drawing is open to individuals who are at least 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. However, if you are entering to win a firearm or any other restricted prizes, you must also be legally able to purchase, own, and take possession of the firearm or any other restricted prizes in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of Governors Gun Club. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the legal requirements in both jurisdictions.
- Entry: To enter the Drawing, simply complete the entry form provided during the designated entry period. Only one entry per person is allowed. Any duplicate entries or entries made by automated means will be disqualified.
- Prize: The prizes available in this Drawing will be clearly stated in the promotional materials. If you win a firearm or any other restricted prizes, you may be required to provide additional information and undergo background checks or fulfill any legal requirements before receiving the prize. If you are unable to meet the necessary legal requirements, an alternative winner may be selected.
- Winner Selection: The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Notification and Claiming the Prize: The winners will be notified by email or telephone within a reasonable time after the Drawing. To claim the prize, winners must respond within the specified time period and provide any requested information or documentation. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
- Taxes and Expenses: Any applicable taxes, fees, or expenses associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. Please consult with a tax advisor to determine any tax implications.
- Release of Liability: By participating in the Drawing, you release and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to your participation in the Drawing or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
- Compliance with Laws: By entering the Drawing, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any violation of these terms may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
- Modifications and Termination: The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Drawing at any time without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond their reasonable control.
- Governing Law: The Drawing and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Drawing is conducted.
- Consent to Marketing Communications: By participating in the Drawing and providing your contact information, you grant consent to receive marketing communications from the organizers and their affiliated partners. These communications may include promotional offers, newsletters, updates, and other relevant information. You have the option to unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the provided opt-out instructions attached to all communications.
