Format: Classroom & Range

Classroom Portion (45 minutes):

We’ll start with an engaging classroom session where you will learn the fundamentals of shotgun shooting, including:

• Safety First: The importance of firearm safety and responsible shooting practices.
• Shotgun Field Rules: Key rules to keep you and others safe while on the field.
• Shotgun Game Types: An introduction to various shotgun sports, including trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
• Clay Shooting Basics: Learn the basics of clay target shooting and what to expect when you’re on the field.

Range Portion (1 hour 15 minutes):

Next, we’ll head to the range, where you’ll have the chance to put your knowledge into action. You’ll receive hands-on instruction and shoot 5 shots of American Trap Shooting, a popular and beginner-friendly discipline. This will give you a real taste of what it’s like to be on the shotgun field and is a perfect way to start gaining confidence.
